False allegations are being made against Punjabi teenagers.

On Sunday, a protest was staged in the district’s Mehraj village against the cases that had been filed against Lakha Sidhana and other young people in Punjab.Simranjit Singh Mann, the president of the SAD (A), the Sangrur MP, Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira, Amritpal Singh, Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh, Amitoj Mann, and Surjit Singh Phool, the state president of the BKU (Krantikari), all took part.

They spoke at the event and specifically mentioned the state government. They claimed that the government had turned into the Delhi Government’s puppet. They said that false charges were being brought against the state’s young and that everyone who raised their voice was labelled a gangster.Lakha Sidhana claimed that although he was advocating for human rights, the government was trying to silence him. A 21-person committee, according to him, would be established to argue for the dismissal of any “fake cases” brought against the young people.

“I know Lakha Sidhana; he is active in social work and has never done anything wrong, but now false accusations are being levelled against him,” Simranjit Singh Mann said.In the Sidhu Moosewala murder case, Sukhpal Khaira and Amritpal Singh also criticised the government for failing to deliver justice.Balkaur Singh, Moosewala’s father, claimed that following his son’s passing, artists in the region were living in fear.
